The Vast of Night is basically a Twilight Zone story. It is set in the 1950's in a small town in New Mexico. The film takes place in one night centered around a High School Basketball game. It stars two teens, one being a Radio DJ and the other being Switchboard Operator who start receiving weird sounding noises and calls from people who believe the noises are coming from a flying object (possible UFO).
I know this film is getting some pretty good reviews but overall it just wasn't that entertaining for me. I thought it was pretty good for a first time director, and thought the premise was interesting but the film just moves a such a slow pace, I was often bored at times. If you enjoy a slow burn Science Fiction film then I might recommend but otherwise there are much better similar films that move at a much faster and more interesting pace.
