Kierre's Review of The Pale Blue Eye 2022 ★★★½

The Pale Blue Eye stars Christian Bale as a Detective in1830's who is hired to investigate a murder of a Cadet at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY. The murder is strange because at first it appears to be a suicide, however, after the body is at the morgue, the heart was removed. He also hires a young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe (played by Harry Melling), to assist him with his investigation.

While this film is far from perfect, I really enjoyed it quite a bit. The acting was good, and it was a remarkably interesting film with lots of twists and turns. I had a few minor complaints but overall, I would definitely recommend this film.
