Lightyear is basically a Prequel to the Toy Story Film. The film stars Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Chris Evans) as this film is based off the Character of Buzz Lightyear instead of the toy which is in Toy Story. In this film Buzz is a Space Ranger who along with a crew are marooned on a planet and they are not able to leave. Buzz has been testing a mineral that is supposed to help their spaceship reach lightspeed in order to travel off of the planet. Only each time he does a failed test of orbiting a Sun, he loses about 4 years of time. Meaning all of the people on the planet are aged 4 years but he stays the same age as he has only traveled for a few minutes. The film includes an all-star cast of voices including Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi, James Brolin, and Uzo Aduba. While I really wanted to love this film, it is just ok. The film starts off great but loses steam once the Robots show up. It's quite fun and touching for the first hour or so but they really messed up once the main villain shows up. It just ok for me and not even close to as good as a Toy Story Film
