Knock at the Cabin is the latest film from M. Night Shyamalan and centers around a family of two men and their adopted daughter who are on vacation a cabin. They are approached by four individuals led by Dave Bautista, indicating that they would like to come inside and talk with family, and state the fate of the world somehow rests in family's hands.
The film is simplistic as 90% of the film takes place inside the cabin. You do not know why these four individuals have targeted this family but as the film progresses more details will emerge. It is a horror film, but I didn't find it to be too scary. There are a few creepy moments but most of the violence takes place off screen. Overall, I enjoyed the film but there wasn't as big of a twist as I was hoping for with a director known for their twists. I do think most audiences will enjoy this film, but it wasn't Shyamalan's best film in my opinion.
