"Save your Breath for Screaming"
Hellraiser (2022) is the re-imagining of the 1987 Clive Barker classic film about a box that can conjure up demons from hell! In this film a young woman is a recovering addict, living in a home with her brother and his boyfriend along with an additional roommate. She doesn't work and is struggling for money. She is also seeing a man who is also in recovery, and he tells her about this dock that he works at where Billionaires leave behind lots of expensive items in storage containers. He tells her that there is a safe in one of those boxes. They both go down and break into the safe to find a box that they later learn will conjure up demons from Hell called Cenobites! So this story is completely different from the original but still very entertaining. I love that the box is a bit different and that you can win a prize! This is not as good as the original, but it was still a lot of fun. I thought the new female pinhead was good, but they didn't give her enough lines to showcase her enough in my opinion. Hopefully there will be a sequel and we can see more of the new Pinhead.
