East LA Interchange 2015 ★★★★
East LA Interchange is a great Documentary film about about a small Immigrant Community located in East Los Angeles, called Boyle Heights. The film chronicles the many different changes within the community, including building one of the largest Interchange freeways in the US, modern Gentrification, and the vastly changing demographics of people in this closely knit community. I really enjoyed this Documentary. I found it to be very entertaining and offered a lot of history about East LA that I wasn't aware of. I enjoyed the narration by Danny Trejo, the interviews, especially the ones with the older population of people who lived in Boyle Heights back in the 1920's, 30's and 40's. A really interesting film that I strongly suggest anyone checks out.
