The Wretched 2019 ★★★★
Now this was a banger of a horror film! Really entertaining and suspenseful with strong performances. Like many others have mentioned, it’s also got strong FRIGHT NIGHT vibes, and if that’s not high praise I don’t know what is.
A troubled teen (John-Paul Howard) visiting his Dad for the summer suspects foul play when his neighbor (Zarah Mahler) starts acting strangely and children start going missing. She’s actually been possessed by a child-eating witch/demon thing (I hate it when that happens!) Really fun flick that I will DEFINITELY be revisiting and probably purchasing.
