Jason's Review of Tetris 2023 ★★★½

The first half of this is really good. In the second half it starts to feel a bit long and repetitive and I was starting to check out a little, but it got me back for the ending.

Cool soundtrack, fascinating story (although I wonder if the true story involved that action-movie-style car chase?) and a great soundtrack. I like Taron Egerton a lot but after Rocketman I was expecting him to be better at air guitar. Definitely feels like a movie that was made for TV (aka streaming) but that’s fine.

P.S. Brought back some major junior high Game Boy memories for sure!
