An outstanding horror film, in which the horror springs from both the natural and the supernatural (with both being equally riveting and terrifying within the context of the story).
A young Sudanese refugee couple (dealing with the trauma of having lost their daughter on the voyage over) try to set up a new home in England, only to discover that an evil spirit has followed them. That’s a bare-bones summary, but there is so much more here, and so much depth and feeling. It’s one of the most emotionally involving horror films I’ve seen in a very long time.
